[Resistance without boundaries

bring and fight social struggles together]

On the 28 th of May 2007 several self-organised initiatives of refugees, the "caravan for the rights of refugees and migrants", the "European Marches against unemployment, precarious employment and social marginalization " and sundry other anti-racist groups, feminist groups, autonomous groups, groups of unemployed people and union groups will come to Oldenburg to take together to the street.

The European Marches consist of several groups whose fights turn against the increase of social inequality and structural social marginalization of "superfluous people". They criticise a status in which more and more people have to live in precarious conditions of employment and living as well as big parts of the population are excluded. Unemployed and homeless people and people without papers organize their tour together to the G8 summit and will meet up anti-racist movements in Oldenburg .

In addition, the NoLagerNetzwerk consisting of self-organised initiatives of ?†††c?refugees from Northern and Eastern Germany who have been fighting against the camp system for many years will also come to Oldenburg . The FIB (refugee's initiative Brandenburg ) substantially contributed to the fact that the racist voucher system was abolished in Brandenburg . For many years “the caravan for the rights of refugees and migrants” (a network) has been criticising the global exploitation and ruling relationships with the slogan "We are here because you destroy our countries!” Apart from this it agitates for global freedom of movement.

A meeting of different movements has already occurred in Oldenburg . In March, for instance, the ALSO (an unemployed people's self-help initiative in Oldenburg ) and the anti-racist plenum of Oldenburg / Blankenburg organised a campaign for the free use of buses. The ALSO has been active in Oldenburg for many years. The initiative supports unemployed people during disputes with chicaneries of authorities and criticises strictly the increasing social inequality. The anti-racist plenum of Oldenburg / Blankenburg - in his current form - has met since the protests in last autumn. At that time about 200 inhabitants of the camp went on a 4-week strike. The protest was directed against the inhuman living conditions in the camp and strictly against a policy which dealing with migrants and refugees is characterised of humiliation, isolation and social exclusion.

From the 26 th to the 29 th of May 2007 sundry groups will meet here in Oldenburg and will take together to the streets. Still, despite differences, they have a common perspective. We see the coming G8 summit as an occasion for this meeting in Oldenburg . The G8 summit of the heads of state and government who refer themselves as the eight mightiest and richest states of the earth, will take?†††c? place in Heiligendamm near Rostock from the 6 th to the 8 th of June 2007 . These heads of government stand for a worldwide policy which splits the societies in poor and rich, in mighty and powerless. The point is to use the summit as a symbol of global ruling relationships, to criticize the existing circumstances and to carry discussions about alternatives into society. For us the G8 summit is just the occasion but common resistance is, far beyond, our purpose.

Because the ruling relationships can get in staggering if we take courage to dissolve compartmentation of suppressed groups and to organise comprehensive movement struggles. Thus our purpose is a network for common resistance.

Today poverty and social marginalization exist in an immense extend and wealth belongs to a few people only. The poverty is fought by the governments by declaring the war on "superfluous people". War on the war and the ruling relationships!

Equal rights for all!

For global freedom of movement!

Everything for everybody namely free of charge!

[Resistance without boundaries

bring and fight social struggles together]

From the 26th - 29th of May different kind of fugitive self organizations the "caravan for the rights of fugitives and immigrants", the "marches against unemployment, parlous employment and social exclusion", and various kind of anti-racial, feministic, autonomy, unemployed and trade unions groups, will come to Oldenburg. Here together they want to go onto the streets and discuss, the outlook of combined resistance.

It seems to be out of fashion to talk about capitalism criticism, there are no good reason for this! The existing society is causing famine and poverty to an higher extent than ever before. Modernization and Globalization are anything but harmless, these are processes which cause a lot of damage, and more and more human beings are reduced to their usefulness. And because of people being only worth as much as they can produce in capitalism there are not only the ones who are "normally" exploited but also ones who are "unnecessary", unemployed people, asylum-seekers, homeless. The unnecessary ones get to feel the full extent of social exclusion.

For example terms for "normal" exploited ones in Germany are becoming worse. Rights that where fought for like dismissal protection and healthcare are being reduced again. More and more sectors are being formed in which employment is highly unstable and salary is barley enough for living. Human beings have to subordinate before assets and become more flexible, not only for working hours. Several jobs, change of private residence or even change of occupational area is normal in our days. To flee from unemployment and harassment by the employment authorities working for a tempting agency where working conditions are even worse than in tradit?†††c?ional labour contracts have become a regularity. Next to this disfranchisement another group exist alongside which has no chance what so ever, according to estimations there over a million illegal people living in Germany. This means they are in no possession of papers and so defenseless against the authorities (job-centre). Because these employees are a set element inside the european employment market, wage dumping which is of high interest to enterprises can be proceeded without any protest.

This corporate development, taking place all over the world is leading to more and more people submitting to the brutal strains of the employment market. The so called third world and its exploitation by the so called first world is increasing more and more. Their assignment are which these so called third world country fulfill following: productions is reoriented to these countries because production is cheaper there; raw materials are exploited these countries can not profit from their own raw materials; and so on. The majority of humans on this earth are suffering from poverty or penury, many do not have access to water, medical supplies, education or land and so on. This is not a consequence of the often mentioned underdevelopment , a so called natural slow evolution of these countries and their economy but rather we have to always keep in mind and connect it with the history of colonization and the capitalistic world-system. Industrial nation and their international Organization like World-bank or WTO are interested to keep this gross status of inequality stable and tighten it up. For example the structural adjustment program of the World-bank and WTO makes this possible. These programs force the countries to lign their national economy politics neoliberal, which means maxim privatization, Liberalization deregulation. Only by doing this their access to credits which they need and depend on will be granted in future. By doing so devastating consequences like penury (mass poverty), inc?†††c?reasing inequality and social ruin, take place. A particular drastic example but also example for resistance being successful, was the privatization of water supplies in region of Cochabamba in Bolivia after the World-bank had suggested to cancel the water-subvention. The drastic increase in price was from 35% - 300%. After months of conflict and up to 100 000 of demonstrators an abondment of the law could be forced. More drastic examples for the consequences of structural adjustment is the dramatic increase of costs for living in El Salvador after the World-bank and IWF advised a privatization of power-supply or the drastic worsening situation of medical supply in Zimbabwe because of the connection between structural adjustment and lowering the medical expenses. Or the condition for access to education which has worsened on Jamaica after the government followed IWF advice to lower the expenses for education by 40%. The achievement of this structural adjustment programs is only possible because these so called third world countries have mass debt crisis. On top of this free trade politics, through WTO, are worsening the situation. For example local agrarian producers can not compete with products from capitalistic centers.

The borders do not run between the countries, but upper and lower like Karl Liebknecht once said. According to Liebknecht world war II was not a war according to Germanys or Frances Interest or any other working-class it was in fact a the result of capitalistic interest of the nation and their national capitalistic interest. This perspective is still existing. Exploitation by so called first world countries and social exclusion of so called third world countries is still based on this logic. In addition not only countries of the global north but also so called third world countries are structured by classes. Although the elite can only stay in their position because they are (like in times of colonization) supported by rich Industrial countries. Self organized?†††c? fugitives groups call this collaboration. But these borders are also seen inside countries of the global north life for people inside of deportation camps is hell.

The european external border runs between Oldenburg and Blankenburg

The EU fugitivpolitics are also here in connection: In order to ward against fugitive stream they are investing millions in sealing of borders. Misantrophical policy outside the EU is often funded directly by the EU. The dramatic events from Ceuta and Melilla drowning boat people before the canary Islands and the abandoned fugitives in the algerian desert are only by media pushed examples. One can clearly see the direct reasonability of european states in their threaten of Transit-states to sanction their economics if they do not operate as long border for fending of fugitives streams. The lot is the global economy-system which divides the world into parts between the rich and the poor and is also responsible for the political disasters in the global south. This structurally inequality is also fundament for what ever citizenship you hold that is how much freedom to move about you have.

You should think Europe who praises itself to be the cradle of humanism would grant political fugitives asylum. De facto from the at least the late 90th Asylum has been disestablished. The acceptance of 0,9% in Germany says everything. On one side it is made nearly impossible for People to apply for asylum border control influences this but on the other hand those who do succeed it is made nearly impossible by their having to prove their status as being justifiable fugitives or immediate deportation to save third countries. Entrance to Europe is decided by wether he or she is a working-hand needed or not.

Migration is not only fleeing from demolition, torture and carnage but at the same time upraise, a setting with all powers against the existing global authorities,?†††c? search for a better life. Immigrants who out of periphery come to centers of Industry cross the sealing off of Europe which do not match to the otherwise so loudly proclaimed free borders for trade So far migration as such is a social movement and here lys potential to challenge existing circumstances. On the other hand there are day to day routines from fugitives which slip past the effort of regulation and are by no means automatically a contradiction (antinomy) to the existing circumstances. Because even these forms of organizing ones life are integrable, for instance illegal work is not a emancipated fight rather the rollover of global social inequality , fact structured social exclusion. Although the strategy of survival from migrants and fugitives are mostly not political articulated (which in fact would be quite difficult) they still are a great challenge every day for the system, even through their very presence they are changing the system. So migration is a social movement without it per se being glorified.

In the last decades a great resistance has been present, like last autumn in Oldenburg. In Blankenburg 7 km from Oldenburg where an arrival and departure camp is and fugitives are hold there for years, without possibilities to cook for themselves , no permission to leave the county (district), no work-permit, and a maximum of 360,- cash per month, and so on. In October 2006 about 200 residents from Blankenburg decided blackball the canteen and one eurojobs for about four weeks and by doing this to start their strife against the living-conditions inside the camp. The same protest took place for two weeks in Bramsche/Hesepe a branch from Blankenburg and other activities and protest. The battle is now being continued with other prospects. This strife is basically against consistent state humiliation, isolation and the social exclusion it is not limited to the food getting better but reaching for the total abolition of the german and european camp-system. Not a peace o?†††c?f cake, its the whole fucking bakery we want.

With this this strife/battle is in a long row with other ones in europe for the right of residence. Other in germany active groups have created in connection with this slogan: "we are here because you are demolishing our countries". the caravan netting has been working regarding this subject for years and is in connection with G8 going to visit Oldenburg show solidarity with Blankenburg and go onto the streets to demonstrate this. Furthermore the NoLager Netting consisting of self organized fugitives groups from North and East-Germany will be present for example the group from Brandenburg is responsible for the getting rid of the racial voucher-system

[The border runs between upper and lower]

The capitalistic society has been trying to be the only possible alternative community at least since the total breakdown of the socialistic states. The state is taking itself more and more back but without to propagate alternate interventions. at least like for example the employment market and the market itself taking it on to to dictate in a direct way ones personal life. That is why one thinks the necessities dictating our life are unchangeable. The society is structuring itself over trade and prices what for example means the trading of labour so the necessity seem like an inherent necessity.

By the way this is why most people in Europe just take the changes for as they are. The social politic is working towards a cutback on which was indeed hard fought for trademark rights and not just since Hartz or Agenda 2010. More and more People are working in an insecure jo?†††c?b instead of a safe one.

An example for the progress of in-securing is the liberation of the post-branch. It is seen very clearly in Oldenburg. Officially the start is on the 01.01.2008 but the reality shows through tricks and strategy it is already working. Private post offices are paying up to 70% less salary unlike the Deutsche Post. Collective labour agreements do not exist hardly, any trade union and only a few businesses have workers council, which should support as a combined union. A lot of workers are on call. Cost can be reduced through this strategy but employees are in a constant state uncertainty. There is no dismissal protection, no sick-pay or payed holiday. Only after two years of conflict and through the help of very committed trade union officials it was possible to establish a work council in a business in Oldenburg. A few allowances were granted concerning the employment law and inside the business, workers are enlightened about their rights and how to accomplish these. Discussions about use and possibility of an collective representation of interest are running.

This is only a small example all over europe there are struggles against the in-securing. The european marches consistent of different kind of groups which struggles are against the tightening of social inequality and the structured social exclusion against the "Needless" They are critiquing the state of more and more people having to deal with insecure jobs. Privatization of living space, water, medical supply and education is excluding many parts of the population. The sans papier will join the european marches. This social movement who are so called paperless illegal migrants are gaining attention since 1997 with their occupation of a few churches. They are worki?†††c?ng very close with trade unions and organization who not only question Migration itself but also the intensified social antithesis. So the history of sans papiers is an example for us and our resistance together. Insecure jobs, unemployment homeless and people without papers are organizing their tour to G8 and will meet here with anti racial movements in Oldenburg.

[Resistance without boundaries]

From the 26th - 29th of May different kind of groups will meet here in Oldenburg but in spite of their differences they still have the same perspective and thats why they will go onto the streets together. The occasion, is the on the 6th - 8th of june taking place G8 summit conference in Heiligendamm and Rostock where the heads of government of the self-called 8 mightiness and riches countries will meet. These heads of government stand for the International politic which is splitting societies into rich and poor powerful and helpless. This summit conference is a symbol to show the existing circumstances and to criticize these and to take discussion about alternate solutions into the public. But more than anything our combined resistance. Because the social exclusion comes from the same source regardless which group. anti-racial politics has to bear in mind that the social antithesis is global but also in europeanstates it self otherwise we would miss the point and only feel sorry for the breaching of human rights but miss the the connection within society. People with european papers cannot close their eyes before the existing state of global social antithesis and the structured racial exclusion in Europe without drifting of into an ignorance and nationalism. Internationalism is an assumption necessary in emancipated politics like migration has become a major part in our society and so a possible base for a social movement. ?†††c?

Netting has taken place in advance for instance between the Also (unemployment support group) and the anti-racial Plenum Oldenburg/Blankenburg they started a campaign regarding the use of busses being free of charge for fugitives and unemployed ones. The existing authorities can be affected if we have the courage to loosen the separation of suppressed groups. Our goal Netting for combined resistance!

Poverty and social inequality are existing in to an high extent the wealth is going into only a few hands. Poverty is fought by authorities by them declaring war to the needles unwanted. War against War and the existing circumstances.

Same rights for everyone!

Free global movement!

Anything for everyone FREE!
